I have been quite reluctant to say anything on this matter in this website. Last night, Saturday 8th November 2008 was quite a difficult night for the judges, especially me (Hans Anwar). I must say we are only humans and of course , you have in your mind who could have the staying power in this industry and who sizzles in the beginning and phase out in the end. The Penalty kick session was quite a challenge. I do wonder what happen to the supporters out there who suppose to keep their favourites in through sms?? Yelling and chanting their names in DEWAN RAYA, RTB is just not enough. You gotta press that button and VOTE! I guess i'll be seeing less and less of them this coming weeks but I do pray the ones with real potentials stays and becomes the best in Brunei Darussalam. (Photo Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin Online)

FAIZ, ROSMAN & SRI NAZRINA alongside with a Ministry Culture Youth & Sports Officer & singer went to Naning, China from 20th October to 25th October 2008 for a funfilled excellent performance representing Brunei Darussalam. They guys really enjoyed it and they had a fun time putting Brunei on the map as they promote our beautiful country through their folk song and dance. We are so proud with you guys and we would like to thank the Ministry of Culture Youth & Sports for nominating our artists to represent Brunei Darussalam.
FAKHRUL RAZI and FAIRUZNEEZAN performed on a showcase at Centre Point Complex in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia recently alongside top Malaysian artists. The event was organised by Muzik FM, Malaysia and its an annual thing that they do to get the fans closer to their favourite stars.
Brunei is proud to have Fakhrul Razi and Fairuzneezan in that show for the first time as the song is well received by Muzik FM (Malaysia). Congratulations to them and we hope there will be more opportunities like this in the very near future.

PUTRI NORIZAH and FAIZ, left for Vietnam to represent the Sultanate in the Asean Golden Melodies Festival-cum-Contest 2008 that will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 14 to 21.
The event is being organised by the radio station of Vietnam, Radio The Voice Of Vietnam (VOV & HTV), which is also a full member of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union that aims to improve the cultural exchange among Asean member countries.
Brunei Darussalam was invited through Radio Television Brunei to the event as well as participants from the other nine members of Asean such as Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and host Vietnam.
Putri Norizah said that she would sing two new songs entitled 'Hear My Heart Aloud' and 'Kesubukan', which were especially composed for the competition by HANS ANWAR and JOE M. FAIZ will also serenade two songs 'Night & Day', written by Rachel Dato Paduka Malai Ali as well as 'Hujan Barai-Barai'.
Brunei Darussalam previously won two awards at the 1998 competition, a Golden Vocalist through Siti Norsuriana Haji Mohd Nor and Silver Vocalist from Hans Anwar.

Fairuzneezan, Milin, Rosman and Sri Nazrina performed at Dewan Raya on Saturday 11th October for Pelangi FM. It was a funfilled night and the crowd was excellent. Prizes were given away. The four PhuturePhase artists also performed along with other Artists of the Month, Azeem featuring Feez Madea (Projectunes), MNC featuring Inoy and three Pelangi's Spotlight artists - Klip, Epitome & Pria Ikhlas. Congratulations to everyone for an excellent performance.

Wow.. Its been a long time we have ever reported anything in this blog. I guess we're too busy trying to get in front of the computer and type what we the rest of us are doing! Well here it goes -
1) JANUARY 2008 - Trip to KL, Malaysia for Recording of "SEPERTI YANG LAIN" - Faiz, Fairuzneezan, Sri Nazrina and Fakhrul Razi. A joint album production between Hans Anwar (PhuturePhase Productions, Brunei Darussalam) and Julfekar (MilleniumArts Sdn Bhd, Malaysia)
2) FEBRUARY 2008 - Charity Evening for SMARTER @ Amphitheatre. Organised by the students of Institute of Medicine, UBD. We loved it! The kids were great and the students were ever so professional. The show was a bang! Thank you gus. It was great collaborating with you all!.
We also had a prelistening session the next day for the Album SEPERTI YANG LAIN at the Holiday Lodge, Jerudong.
The next week , two of our artist Nuraysha and Sri Nazrina, performed @ ICC for Anugerah RTB.
We had a blast the next day with our PhuturePhase "Beach Around" at pantai tungku! Great turnout and we had fun. Thanks for coming guys!.
3) MARCH 2008 - March was pretty hectic as everyone seems to be having shows after the charity event! he heh.. great stuff. It was a busy time for the studio also cos we're producing singles and songs for each individual artists' album. Some of you might have heard already. More to come!
The KL four - Faiz, Fairuzneezan, Sri Nazrina & Fakhrul Razi - again, were whisked away to KL to record their video clip which you guys can view at youTube.
4) APRIL 2008 - Fairuzneezan performed at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for Konswert Setiakawan. Recordings.. rehearsals.. recordings.. rehearsals.. non-stop.. he heh..
5) MAY 2008 - Go! Broadband Go! Broadband.. go for it.. Yes THAT song is composed by Hans Anwar and launched @ Empire Hotel & Country Club. The next few days witnessed the DST Roadshow where Hans Anwar & Putri Norizah got invited to perform along with other Brunei Artists.
BSP Director's Night: Joe M, Putri Norizah, Sri Nazrina & Fakhrul Razi got invited to perform.
It is also the month we recorded the 24 HOURS video.
A VERY BUSY ending to this month is the Album Promotion to all FOUR Districts of Brunei Darussalam. Its SEPERTI YANG LAIN - yes, finally arrived and it was a whirlwind of fun fun fun!! Thanks to all the supporters, RTB, Malaysian Media and fans for making this event a success!.
6) JUNE 2008 - Sawadee Krap!! Ha ha.. yes PESTA PA PLERN the joint program between Brunei Darussalam and The Kingdom of Thailand! The most challenging show and who got to go there and perform? FAIZ, MILIN, FAKHRUL RAZI & SRI NAZRINA!
Back home, its HANS ANWAR, PUTRI NORIZAH & FAIRUZNEEZAN performed in Temburong for the DST Roadshow. The crowd was incredible! Terimakaseh orang Temburong!
Next show - BSP 'Ambassador's Night' - Sri Nazrina & Putri Norizah. It was the month of photo shoots also for Putri Norizah. Gearing up for her upcoming new album!.
FAIZ, FAIRUZ, SRI NAZRINA & FAKHRUL RAZI were the next batch to perform for DST GO! Broadband road show in Tutong. The crowd was mmm.. could be better but we had fun nonetheless..
FAHKRUL RAZI went to Singapore after that to do TITIAN MINDA as an MC as he is alumni to that game show.
HANS ANWAR & PUTRI NORIZAH performed for the AIDS Charity Event organised by the Kemuda Institute.
7) JULY 2008

As we know, it was His Majesty's Birthday so all the gang is busy with shows and stuff. PUTRI NORIZAH, SRI NAZRINA & FAKHRUL RAZI performed for PENTARAMA which was organised by Jabatan Penerangan. It toured the four disticts of Brunei Darussalam
The week ending this month, HANS ANWAR got chosen to perform in Senandung Muhibbah RTB/RTM in Kulala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was telecast live on Sunday, 3rd August 2008.
8) AUGUST 2008
PUTRI NORIZAH & HANS ANWAR performed for SAGEMARK INTEGRATED SERVICES together with the Celebrity Chef - CHEF WAN! ha ha!.. he was hilarious as he dance around while HANS ANWAR sang 'SWAY'.
Week ending of this month, all PhuturePhase Artists went for video recording for Hari Raya program. We had fun. It was nice to have all the guys together again.
9) SEPTEMBER 2008
Puasa.. Ramadhan.. a chance to relax a bit.. he heh.. BUT on the 22nd, we had a photo shoot - HANS ANWAR, PURI NORIZAH, FAZI, FAKHRUL RAZI & FAIRUZNEEZAN - It was for RENTAK 914 Vol.3 Album Compilation. Watch out for that one guys! Produced by RTB.
Well I guess thats it so far. We'll be back to report more for October onwards. Someone is going to Vietnam and China!! Wanna know who? Watch this space!
PELANGI MUSIC AWARDS 2006 -2007 has announced the nominations for this year. In the Best Male Vocal Category, 4 out of 5 of the nominations is conquered by PhuturePhase Productions artists! Well done guys! Congratulations to FAIZ, FAKHRUL RAZI, MILIN & HANS ANWAR.

Hans Anwar was interviewed in a two hour radio session with DJ Zureen and DJ Daffi on Kristal FM. Besides promoting Hans' new album, he also invited to be one of the "critics" for the Kristal Chatters Singing Idol. The afternoon was full of fun and laughs. PhuturePhase Productions would like to personally thank Kristal FM for the opportunity and would like to wish DJ Zureen, DJ Daffi and the rest of the crew of Kristal FM SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI, maaf zahir dan batin.
